Default character select in-game menu.

what would be realllly nice to put in would be a drop down character select menu for towns and outposts. i think everyone has had that instance where they found a group looking for one more char or is needing a high level char or something, and you tell them your gonna go get that char. by the time you log out, log back in, select the right char, map travel, find the district, find the group they could be gone, disbanded cuz they were tired of the wait or they could have found another person with the char they were looking for and they left. its just a hassle. i think it would be nice to implement a char select menu that could select the char and be in the same area. but only characters that have been in that town or mish. or maybe just make it where if your tired of playing with the current char just have it where you select the char and you are instantly taken where that char was left off at last.

search button FTW.
a character change function has been suggested LOADS of times.

while im all for it, it really doesnt take "THAT" long to do:
[F12]-[ENTER]-[TYPE PASSY]-[ENTER]-[CLICK CHAR]-[ENTER] (or double click the character)
the only part that would be the tinyest bit time consuming is mapping and changing district.

Your crediblity went to zero the second you said: "Needing a high level char". This means you're still playing on the starter island, where groups are redundant and everything is best done with heroes and henchies.

Guild Wars, where your role/build matter, only affects missions designed for level 20.

Once you get to the point where build setup matters, you'll realize why the rest of the comments are redundant.
